The City of Breckenridge to Become Film Friendly City

TX FILM Commission

The City of Breckenridge has taken steps to become a Film Friendly City. Three steps are required to become a Film Friendly City:

1. Attend a TX Film Commission Workshop (completed)
2. Pass administratively enforceable guidelines (completed: click here to view)
3. Submit at least 5 photos. This is a minimum number: anyone in the community can submit photos as long as they are the owners and can grant permission for film producers to film (in-process)

Breckenridge has so many amazing locations perfect for any kind of production from beautiful, natural scenery,  our own Lake Daniels to historic sites and a unique, burgeoning downtown featuring the beautiful Stephens County Courthouse.

As producers are considering their location needs, they can search the Texas Film Commission’s data base of photos to help them determine their next film location. They are looking for unique, historical, iconic buildings, locations, businesses, landscape, ranches, etc.

If you have unique, historical photos of your property and would be willing to be an onsite location for filming, submit your photos to the Texas Film Commission:
