Scott Dixon

Randall Scott Dixon is the Interim City Manager of the City of Breckenridge, TX where he has served in this capacity since September of 2020. Prior to his employment with Breckenridge, Mr. Dixon served the cities of Ennis and Flatonia, both in Texas, as their City Manager for almost 4 years in each location. Scott is a proud alumnus of The University of North Texas in Denton; Texas having earned both a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Marketing as well as a Master’s in Public Administration.  He and his wife Kelli are the parents of three daughters – Jessica, Darbi and Shelbi.  Scott is the youngest of six children, his parents both retired from the Fort Worth Independent School District.  He is an Eagle Scout and Master Mason.  Scott has served in numerous service organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, Lions International, Carter Blood Care Donor Council, Rotary International, The United Way, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Ellis County Child Advocacy Center and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Mr. Dixon is also a member of many professional organizations and has filled too many board and committee roles to list here. Scott is passionate about service to others and improving the quality of life for the communities he serves. Go Bucks!
